## What is the Winter Kiswa campaign? A time-bound campaign closing on 30 November 2026, so that winter arrives and no child is left without a coat. One kit: a coat, shoes, and a blanket. Winter is no surprise, but it does not wait. Clothing must be bought, prepared and shipped to the governorates before the cold sets in, which is why the campaign closes on its date: what arrives later arrives after the need. ## Who is it for? Children in the coldest areas inside Syria, first among them the children of families Al-Dahabi already sponsors — a family that cannot cover its rent cannot cover its children's coats. ## How is it carried out? **Before the cold.** Purchased and prepared during the campaign weeks, and shipped to the governorates as quantities are completed. **By local teams.** Distributed by each governorate's own team, people from the area who know which households are in greatest need. **With documentation.** Distribution is published in the media center on this site. ## Where? Inside Syria, in the coldest governorates — mountain and rural areas first, where the cold months run long and heating is scarce. ## Why a time-bound campaign rather than an ongoing project? Because it has a season. Ongoing projects such as hijab and family sponsorship run all year; Winter Kiswa opens and closes on its date. What is raised in it is spent on it. ## How can I contribute? With a one-time donation before the closing date. There is no monthly option in this campaign, because it ends when its season ends.
